Age Of Reason has been entertaining clubs, private parties, weddings, corporate and
school events with their own renditions of the most popular cover tunes for
the past 25 years. They have played a wide variety of venues including
Shoreline Amphitheater, The San Jose Museum of Modern Art, Britannia Arms,
The Sports Page, The Mountain Winery, Testarossa Winery, The Boulevard Tavern, Soquel High,
and Alice's Restaurant to name but a few.
Every place Age Of Reason has played, they have been asked back for an encore performance.

They are constantly building on their diverse and versatile set list.
Age Of Reason's 100+ song selection ranges from modern rock, hard rock, mellow rock to
disco, and depending on the venue and the occasion you could hear songs
from the early seventies to a modern rock song that hit the charts last
week. The band prides themselves on filling clubs and getting the
crowd to the dance floor, and keeping them there 'til they have to stop to
refuel before hitting the floor again. They begin and end the night with
energy and attitude. The band always has a good time setting and
transferring the tone to the audience.

Age Of Reason is Doug Yanagawa on drums and lead vocals, Amy on percussion and lead vocals,
Bill Dunham on lead guitar and vocals, Mark Roberts on guitar, percussion and vocals,
Evan Young on keyboards, Bill Gunn on drums, and Grant Gouldon on bass.

Doug Yanagawa: Doug amazes and woos audiences with his versatile vocal style
keeping the beat while belting out your favorite song.
From the Police to Goo Goo Dolls you would swear you are experiencing the original.

Amy, vocalist extraordinaire, brings an exciting dynamic to the band,
with a wide range of popular female vocalist hits.
It's hard to imagine an artist that can sing Hole and Olivia Newton John in the same night.
Amy can and does. She is magical on stage, drawing in the audience with her grace and style, legs and smile.

Bill Dunham: Bill was born to be a rock star.
You will often find Bill wailing out a lead out in the audience. He seems to gather a crowd at every break.
Bill plays a wide range of axes from strats to ibanez, bringing an uncanny unique tone to each lead.
When Age Of Reason really wants to pull out all the stops then you will catch Bill singing hits by the Ramones.

Mark Roberts: Mark plays guitar, keyboards, and every form of percussion. If only he had a few more hands ...
he claims he has heard that before on many an occasion.
Mark mixes it up with his glossy floyd rose Strat or his vintage custom Les Paul.
See if you can tell when he switches from the Yamaha keys to the axe.
Don't blink while bopping and banging around the dance floor.

Evan Young: Rescued from a career as a conductor (some say he sold his soul to Rock 'n Roll),
Evan brings depth and texture to the band. A concert violinist and consummate pianist, who can
bring tears to your eyes or rock your socks off,
Evan brings a whole new dimension to the sound.

Grant Gouldon
: Grant rounds out the low end with his groove and attitude.
Watch Grant as a barometer — if he's a rockin the audience is knockin! As in packed dance floor!
When Bill and Grant are in the zone you can't help but pull yourself off the vinyl bar bench
and find yourself a spot on the floor in front of the band.
